Samantha is the founder and the creator behind the beautiful products you see at Atelier Shu. With an eye for aesthetics, Samantha has always had a keen interest in baking, craft, and photography. While working as a nurse for six years, she spent a lot of her spare time creating beautiful cakes, making crafts, and developing her eye for photography. During this time, she honed her skills in buttercream flower cake decorations and continues to explore new fields in baking. Prior to opening Atelier Shu, Samantha sharpened her baking skills and business acumen with her home bakery project @m.sweetlab, which she started in 2015.
As you step into the patisserie, you can see Samantha’s passion and attention to detail encompass the whole space. Every detail of the patisserie, from the furniture to the lighting fixtures, have been carefully selected – all with the purpose of creating a truly beautiful space. “Good quality and good design can last years,” she says. Samantha effortlessly combines the art of patisserie creation together with contemporary design to bring a truly exceptional experience to Atelier Shu’s patrons.
